Custom label shapes

Oddly enough, custom label shapes are the fourth most popular sticker shape. While custom shaped labels are the most eye-catching and unique of sticker shapes, they also require carefully constructed design. Often these labels have filleted or scalloped shapes that reduce the amount of available print space for text or information. Custom shapes are popular for car decals, wedding labels, beer and wine bottle labels as well as promotional labels. Custom shaped labels may be vintage styled scalloped or filleted labels or more modern, unique shapes, but with the proper design they can be really beautiful and attention grabbing. Generally, custom shaped labels are easy to digitally print and cut contour, however, the more convoluted the sticker shape the longer it takes the machine to cut-contour and this can make them a bit more expensive than the more popular square, rectangular, round and oval labels. Nevertheless, when done properly, custom printed and shaped stickers can deliver a unique promotional punch.
